About The Position

The Perkins Coie 1L Patent Litigation Fellowship is designed for first-year law students interested in patent litigation. This fellowship offers a stipend of $15,000 upon completion of the summer program and provides a pathway to a summer associate position in 2026. The program combines the resources of a leading technology law firm with the personalized attention of a boutique practice, allowing fellows to gain valuable experience in patent litigation.

Requirements

• Candidates must be a first-year law student in good standing pursuing the degree of Juris Doctor at an ABA-accredited law school.
• Demonstrated record of academic achievement and excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated interest in patent litigation.
• A technical degree or scientific background in areas such as computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or similar fields is a plus.
• Life experiences that have shaped your perspectives and professional goals.
