Requirements

  • In order to be considered for this internship, you must be a student currently enrolled in a major university pursuing an accredited degree program.
  • This position specifically requires a degree in electrical, mechanical, or other engineering discipline relevant to the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

  • help patent engineers and attorneys research various semiconductor technologies
  • review and improve innovation disclosure forms provided by onsemi's innovator community
  • review technical publications and white papers
  • provide other engineering/technical support to onsemi's patent engineers and attorneys
  • Knowledge, or desire to learn about the semiconductor design, manufacturing and related technologies
  • Gain on the job training and experience related to innovation harvesting, review, and preparation for patent applications
  • Execute projects on an independent, but timely and professional manner.
