Requirements

  • Associate's degree and 2 years of legal experience.
  • 2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience.
  • High school diploma / GED and 4 years of legal experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent litigation experience in a law firm or corporate law department.
  • Patent prosecution experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a law firm.
  • Exceptional communication skills - oral and written.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Resourceful, creative, flexible and team player.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Intellectual Property Litigation team.
  • Assist and support litigation teams in U.S. and global intellectual property litigations, including maintaining electronic databases.
  • Draft correspondence, e-mails, engagement letters with outside counsel; obtain references, case law, patents, file histories; organize materials.
  • Schedule meetings and manage logistics for a variety of meetings, including registering visitors, catering, and technical assistance.
  • Utilize various platforms to review invoices; maintain and retrieve pleadings, information and correspondence.
  • Effectively manage the calendar and coordinate domestic and international travel.
  • Review, prioritize, and flag high priority communications for timely responses.
  • Make connections and establish relationships across functions.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations, word processing, copying, scanning, and utilizing online services.
  • Timely and efficient processing of expense reports.
  • Back up other administrative coordinators when they are out of the office.
  • Interact with U.S. and global litigation counsel and support staff.
