About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled patent agent with a Ph.D. in the Biotech or Chemistry field to join our team. This position is critical as it involves working with cutting-edge technologies and requires a deep understanding of the scientific principles underlying these innovations. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to think critically and quickly grasp new technologies, which is essential for drafting and prosecuting patent applications effectively. Strong writing skills are a must, as the role involves creating clear and comprehensive patent documents that meet the rigorous standards of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and other international patent offices. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting patent applications and managing the prosecution of these applications before the USPTO and patent offices worldwide. This includes responding to office actions, conducting interviews with patent examiners, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is submitted in a timely manner. You will work closely with inventors and researchers to understand their inventions and translate complex scientific concepts into patentable claims. Your expertise will help protect our clients' intellectual property and contribute to their success in the competitive biotech and chemistry sectors.
