E/CS Patent Agent - Los Angeles Join a Premier Intellectual Property Practice A nationally respected law firm is seeking a Patent Agent or Technical Specialist to join its Intellectual Property group in Los Angeles. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated technologies across electrical engineering and software -driven innovation. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience and a technical background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, software engineering, physics, or a closely related discipline. Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications in electrical and software technologies
- USPTO eligibility (registered or qualified to sit)
- Strong academic background with clear, precise writing ability
- Professional communication skills and client -facing capability
