Husk is seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team and help lead one of Nashvilles most exciting dining destinations. This is a hands-on role perfect for a driven professional who brings both creativity and consistency to the table, while contributing to a dynamic, high-performance kitchen
Requirements
- 1+ year of pastry experience in a professional kitchen or bakery
- Detail-oriented, organized, and focused on consistency
- Passionate about pastry technique and open to learning
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
- Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of pastries, plated desserts, breads, and components according to standardized recipes
- Assist in menu development, seasonal dessert features, and daily prep
- Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and portioning
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked pastry and prep stations
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols at all times
- Work closely with the BOH team to support service and special events
