About The Position

The Kiawah Island Club is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Cook to join the culinary team at The B-Liner. Amid uncommon scenic beauty, The Kiawah Island Club is an exclusive private membership club for property owners with an unmatched collection of amenities and distinctive venues.

Requirements

  • Some pastry experience is required.
  • Knowledge of, and adherence to SC sanitation rules is required.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with fine dining, banquets, and events and/or large production preferred.
  • Serve Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Executive Pastry Chef on restaurant and event menus showcasing signature plated desserts, intricate garnish, cookies, cakes, pastries, ice creams, sorbets, a variety of daily breads, and other menu items using primarily local, seasonal ingredients
  • Working pastry line during lunch and dinner service
  • Executing dessert menus for exclusive events and daily lunch and dinner menus. Work closely with the Executive Pastry Chef breads for savory restaurant and event menus.
