About The Position
Pastry Cook Marbled & Fin (Savannah, GA) Join Our Growing, Hospitality-Driven Team! Marbled & Fin is seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook to join our team! About Us: Marbled & Fin is expanding from its celebrated Charleston roots to downtown Savannah as the concept's second location, joining The Neighborhood Dining Group portfolio (Husk, Delaney Oyster House, Minero, and The James). Known for its vibrant energy and modern approach to the steakhouse, Marbled & Fin creates a lively yet polished setting for both everyday dining and special celebrations. Team members will be part of bringing this exciting new restaurant to Savannah, offering premium cuts of beef, the highest quality seafood, and expansive wine list, and a standout whiskey and spirits collection. Who We're Looking For: You are someone who takes pride in precise technique, creativity, and consistency in the pastry arts. This is a hands-on role perfect for a driven professional who brings both creativity and consistency to the table, while contributing to a dynamic, high-performance kitchen
Requirements
- 1+ year of pastry experience in a professional kitchen or bakery
- Detail-oriented, organized, and focused on consistency
- Passionate about pastry technique and open to learning
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
- Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of pastries, plated desserts, breads, and components according to standardized recipes
- Assist in menu development, seasonal dessert features, and daily prep
- Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and portioning
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked pastry and prep stations
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols at all times
- Work closely with the BOH team to support service and special events
