The Hilton Cleveland Downtown provides a dynamic and professional setting for team members to grow their hospitality careers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience within a commercial kitchen environment. They must demonstrate the ability to follow directions and guidance from the Executive Pastry Chef to maintain their high standards of quality and presentation. A flexible schedule and open availability, passion for food and willingness to grow is essential!

Responsibilities

Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
Support the Executive Pastry Chef in the execution and delivery of the restaurant and banquet desserts
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
Stock, maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
