Our creative fine dining menus accentuate the native flavors of the Willamette Valley with a strong influence on seasonal, farm-to-table agriculture. Requirements
- Classic pastry techniques and recipes
- JORY dessert menu items and ingredients
- Garden products and seasonal availability
- Cooking philosophy of JORY restaurant
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays
- Ability to effectively communicate with all team members
- An enthusiastic, positive demeanor and desire to provide exceptional guest service
- State of Oregon Food Handler’s Card
- Pass pre-employment background check
Responsibilities
- Create and prepare desserts in accordance with the existent menus
- Decorate cakes and baked goods according to requirements
- Plate desserts for serving
- Creates baked goods for specific diets (gluten free, sugar free, diabetes-friendly, etc.)
- Inspect the quality of the ingredients
- Maintains work station and equipment for proper functioning
- Work with all team members to ensure consistent product
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness
- Keep wait staff informed of menu changes and plate description
