About The Position

The pastry department is a high profile area in that it is the last part of a meal that a guest will have, this can leave the guest with a positive or negative lasting impression of the hotel. At times, the workload can be tremendous and the qualified pastry cook must be prepared for this.

Requirements

  • 1 Year prior pastry experience.
  • Must be innovative, detail oriented and quality conscious.
  • Must be aware of new trends in presentation and preparation.
  • Available to work weekends and Holidays.
  • Food Handlers card is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tasteful and appealing desserts for the restaurant, banquets and on occasion the Mesa.
  • Maintain pars on necessary items.
  • Communicate to pastry Chef any vital information.
