About The Position

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a pastry cook in a luxury or upscale hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Food Handlers permit.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

  • High school or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute all menu items to specification as directed by the Banquet Chef.
  • Maintain the highest level of food quality and execution while adhering to timelines and Banquet Event Orders (BEO's).
  • Set up workstations based on menu items and ensure all mise en place is ready for the shift.
  • Follow proper sanitation and safety guidelines, keeping kitchen work and storage areas clean and organized.
  • Inspect all food products to ensure proper appearance, colors, and appeal.
  • Store all food in proper containers in refrigerators and freezers to maintain freshness.
