Nemours is seeking a Pastoral Care Program Manager to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, DE. The Program Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of the pastoral care program, which is essential for providing spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families. This position involves providing clinical pastoral care, maintaining staffing resources, and overseeing the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program, ensuring that it meets the necessary standards for accreditation. The Program Manager will also be responsible for developing programs that assist patients, families, and staff in navigating their spiritual and emotional needs. In this role, the Program Manager will manage the daily operations of the Pastoral Care Services, ensuring that all policies and procedures are maintained in coordination with leadership. A key aspect of the position is to provide spiritual comfort to clinical associates, providers, patients, and families by regularly visiting patients and offering pastoral counseling, religious rituals, and referrals to community religious resources as needed. The Program Manager will coordinate the CPE program, supervising CPE interns and residents, and ensuring adherence to accreditation standards. Additionally, the role includes managing the fiscal resources of the department in collaboration with leadership and participating in the NCH Delaware Ethics Committee to provide ethical consultations as requested.
