About The Position
Fellowship Bible Church (Castleton, VT) Pastor The Big Picture Fellowship Bible Church (castletonfbc.com) is seeking a full-time Pastor to work 35-40 hours a week or part time to work 20 hours a week to preach the Word of God and to serve as our church's pastor. Fellowship Bible Church is a small independent baptistic evangelical church in the heart of the Green Mountains in the lovely town of Castleton, Vermont. We have been provided a beautiful church through God's abundant blessings and loyal followers of Christ. We currently have a range of about 45-65 people attending our Sunday service. We are presently looking for a servant of the Lord who loves and preaches only the Word of God. He must be a good shepherd of the flock who cares for each and every sheep.
Requirements
- Theology or Biblical school degree (a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with intentions of pursuing a master’s degree)
- A strong background in biblical preaching and teaching during Sunday service and Bible studies.
- Experience or have methods that will reach young families while preserving and nurturing an older congregation.
- The ability to work in partnership with all involved with the church.
Responsibilities
- declare the whole council of God
- provide leadership in the areas of evangelism, visitation stewardship, counseling, and missionary outreach
- personally minister to and supervise all those involved in ministry
- equip the saints for the work of ministry and edifying the church
- work with the members to keep the church running and operating in a way that is pleasing to God, the community, and God's family at FBC.
