POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibilities of the Pasteurization Operator include proper maintenance and sanitation of all production equipment, flavor vats, lines, silos, mix receiving equipment and lines and the production rooms. Duties also include pasteurization of all mixes. Reports directly to the Bulk Production Manager and is responsible for pasteurization and CIP. Specific duties include manual and Clean In Place (CIP) sanitation of all equipment, lines, vats, floors, HTST and mix receiving equipment. Works closely with the Production Manager, Inventory Control Personnel, Quality Assurance and Material Procurement. Maintain regulatory documentation in accordance to company food safety programs and PMO requirements. All required documentation must be maintained and submitted in a timely manner. Employees must possess skills which permit them to accurately interpret control panel data. They must also possess mechanical skills to ensure proper equipment set up and tear down. Employees must work well with others and have good social and communication skills and be willing to take direction. Participate in all monthly inspections, and all internal and external yearly audits of the sections pertaining to the production department. Ensures that all paperwork pertaining to production is filled out and turned in daily including daily checklists, SOP's and Q.C.'s. Follow all company food safety and quality programs as well as employee safety programs.
