About The Position

Job Summary: Responsible for assisting machine operators in manufacturing and production processes with adhering safety rules, material loading and unloading of the machine and assisting machine operators in various tasks.

Requirements

Diploma in General Mechanics or Machine Technology or related field from a recognized institution.
A minimum of 1+ years of experience as machine assistant job in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
A ‘COC’ certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Help to set up machines and assist machine operators in the production process.
Assist with machine loading and unloading of the raw materials and consumables.
Stack finished product in accordance with specification.
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the operator and supervisor
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
Assist in performing prescribed daily machine cleaning and preventative maintenance on machines as required
Familiar with the basic machine functions to perform the tasks stated above.
Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product defects to the operator and supervisor on time.
Moving materials and components between workstations involves safely handling of raw and waste materials and finished products to maintain a tidy and organized workspace
Assist machine operator with any additional needs
Undertakes any other assignments as his direct supervisor instructions.
