About the position

The Passenger Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of employees to ensure safe and effective operations. This role involves monitoring and enforcing safe working habits in accordance with OSHA/TSA/DOT/USPS regulations, Unifi policies, and safety procedures. The supervisor is responsible for managing the shift schedule, including workstation assignments, employee training, vacations, breaks, overtime assignments, and shift rotations. Additionally, the supervisor enforces company policies and procedures, promotes diversity initiatives, and investigates employee relations issues. The position also requires communication with management regarding any problems or issues, conducting shift meetings, assisting in payroll administration, and performing job duties related to passenger assistance during arrival and check-in processes.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of employees.
  • Monitor and enforce safe working habits in accordance with regulations and company policies.
  • Manage shift schedules including assignments, training, vacations, and breaks.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, including disciplinary actions.
  • Promote diversity initiatives and investigate employee relations issues.
  • Communicate with management regarding problems or issues.
  • Schedule and conduct shift meetings.
  • Assist in payroll administration and complete shift paperwork.
  • Perform job duties related to passenger assistance, including handling ticketing, boarding, and resolving complaints.

Requirements

  • Must be a local (in-state) resident.
  • Valid In-State Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
  • Two+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed.

Nice-to-haves
