Emirates Passenger Service Agent PART TIME Additional $1.00/hr premium for Arabic language speaker
About The Position
As a member of the Passenger Service Team, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient airport experience for passengers. Your responsibilities will include checking in passengers at the ticket counter and gates, verifying documentation, assigning seats, providing gate information, checking baggage, and assisting passengers with any issues or concerns during their time at the airport. Position Highlights: Customer Focused : Provide exceptional service by assisting passengers with check-in, baggage, and any other needs at the airport. Bilingual: Arabic speaker will receive an additional $1.00/hr premium
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess/maintain a valid Driver’s License and other FAA required identification/seals
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including, weekends and holidays
- Work is done indoors and outdoors – must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Able to continuously lift, push and pull up to 70 lbs
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to build relationships
Responsibilities
- Comply with the Location’s attendance/tardiness standards
- Computerized check-in of passengers for international and domestic travel
- Designate seat assignments
- Verify documentation for international and domestic flights
- Ensure correct boarding passes are provided to each passenger for the assigned charter flight
- Verify ticket and seat reservations
- Match manifest to on-board count
- Assist with various governmental agency requirements
- Connect and disconnect Jetway/stairs as necessary
- Announce arrivals and departures as necessary
- Assists with baggage tagging and baggage claim reports
- Maintain current knowledge of all flight times during shift
- Provide information to customers
- Maintain liaison with Airlines and Customer Representatives and Ground Handlers
