About The Position

The Passenger Assistance Agent at St. Louis Lambert Airport (STL) is responsible for providing special assistance to passengers requiring mobility support, including wheelchair and aisle chair services. This role involves meeting inbound and outbound flights, offering general information, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The position is available for both day and overnight shifts, with competitive pay and the opportunity to earn cash tips.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal, including a successful background check and ten-year work history.
• Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.
• Effective listening skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer service or retail sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide special assistance to passengers as requested.
• Meet inbound arrivals to provide exceptional services such as courtesy chairs and walk assistance through the terminal.
• Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain records, reports, and files as required.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company and regulatory authorities.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
