About The Position

The Parts Washer Operator supports MNP's Manufacturing division by operating the parts washer machine, material handling, inspecting, sorting and following various cleaning methods involving chemicals to ensure parts are clean without damage.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant employment experience
  • Must be able to work with chemical for chemical handling
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift, balance, talk, hear, smell, reach, use hands, reach, crouch, and sit as needed throughout the day
  • Ability to see close, distance, color, peripheral, depth and adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in a loud environment with exposure to vibrations.
  • Ability to work near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to adhere to standard safety policies
  • Ability to adhere to hazardous chemical guidelines and utilize MSDS program.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment, post-offer physical, drug screen
  • Able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

  • Operate a Hilo successfully without supervision
  • Clear product for Thread Roll department
  • Dumping & Staging
  • Bringing dunnage and pallets
  • Scanning and putting away finished pallets into racks
  • Maintain disposable areas in fastener manufacturing
  • Pull and put away as needed
  • Batteries for Hilos
  • Monitor PH level of tanks
  • Perform daily audits
  • Use scanner for barcodes
  • Dispatch reading throughout the shift
