About The Position

BMW Service Center, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking a Parts Warehouse Representative to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role is responsible for accurately checking in and stocking received parts, as well as efficiently receiving stock and filling parts orders with a high degree of accuracy and speed.

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Minimum of one year's experience working in the service drive or at an auto parts retailer or wholesaler
  • ASE Certification

Responsibilities

  • Accurately check in and stock shelves with received parts
  • Receive stock and fill parts orders with a high degree of accuracy, speed and efficiency
  • Strive to grow the sales department and your career by hitting challenging monthly goals
  • Understand and comply with all regulations that affect the Parts department, and perform tasks accurately, fairly and in accordance with local, state and federal statutes, as well as company policies
  • Work with the service drive employees to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs
  • Use empathy, technical expertise and understanding of company policies to satisfy customer requests
  • Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect parts department including but not limited to hazardous waste disposal, emergency response, safe driving and OSHA Right-to-Know
  • Ensure use proper safety equipment
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Process data and organize it for management analysis
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions
  • Understand and follow work rules and procedures
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Interact well with others and be a positive influence on morale of department, dealership and organization
