About The Position

The Warehouse Clerk is expected to accurately, timely, and thoroughly assess receipt of all incoming merchandise to document and maintain accurate records. The role involves seeking ways to improve business operation efficiencies and customer service, and being a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful. The Warehouse Clerk will report to the Parts Manager and is responsible for maximizing production, customer service, and profitability by achieving company standards, maintaining stock records, distributing orders, processing stock orders and customer returns, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position requires maintaining employee, customer, and vendor confidence while handling sensitive information and assisting in the processing of customer payments. The role also demands integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months or more related experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (if applicable).
  • Basic ability to read and write.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Active learning and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Understanding of customer service principles.

  • Knowledge of Larry H. Miller Dealerships' current company management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Assist in processing customer payments.
  • Maintain composure and handle job stress effectively.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
