About The Position

Sterling KIA is hiring! We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in serving Acadiana and being part of a successful family-owned and operated business. Our Parts Warehouse Associate is an entry-level full-time position that plays an important role in the success of our parts department. The main responsibility is the safe and timely pickup and delivery of automotive parts, but this role also supports overall warehouse operations, including inventory, stocking, and assisting Parts Advisors as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • At least 21 years of age, or minimum 3 full years of licensed driving experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Professional demeanor, appearance, and dependability
  • Must be coachable, adaptable, and willing to assist wherever needed
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, including charging station stops, to complete deliveries promptly and return to the warehouse
  • Log arrival, departure, and lunch times accurately
  • Check in parts using packing lists, separate customer/body shop/stock orders, and tag orders correctly
  • Place parts in correct bins and maintain a running list of bin assignments
  • Pull invoices once items are checked in and prepare all deliveries for the day
  • Load vans with all required parts for each delivery, completing any pending check-ins before departure
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks, including organizing shelves, disposing of trash, and keeping areas clean and safe
  • Support Parts Advisors with customer and internal service requests as needed
  • Provide excellent service to internal and external customers while practicing safe driving at all times
  • May require lifting up to 50 lbs
