The Warehouse Assistant will also package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training
  • Valid Texas driver license
  • 2-4 years of experience in related field
  • Previous experience using forklifts, floor jacks, pallet jacks, high lifts, and/or power jacks
  • Read & write in English
  • Reliable
  • Good driving record
  • Self-Starter
  • Teamwork
  • Basic computer skills, Word & Excel
  • Bend over backwards, can-do attitude

Responsibilities

  • Parts Maintenance
  • Perform inventory counts and keep records up to date.
  • Pull parts to fulfill work orders for the service team.
  • Identify core parts and make sure they are returned to supplier by the deadline date.
  • Track the usage of oil, coolant, and other supplies.
  • Pick up parts from suppliers and deliver parts as needed.
  • Responsible for tracking tools and equipment.
  • Assist in identifying scrap material.
  • Operate forklifts to move or store inventory.
  • Assist the Warehouse Coordinator with various tasks in the Used Parts Department.
  • Responsible for receiving all parts of the Purchase Order and distributing parts to the appropriate department.
  • Safety
  • Report all recognized unsafe conditions or acts to Management.
  • Wear proper PPE when necessary
  • ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Attend training sessions as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
