About The Position

ROLE STATEMENT: The Parts Technician will be a member of the Repair and Maintenance Department responsible for the organization of the parts in the parts room. Reporting to the Parts Maintenance Manager, the Parts Clerk will focus on proper paperwork, supply and maintenance of parts. SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday $24/hour and up

Requirements

• An energetic, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast paced environment that is deadline driven
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with all levels of the organization
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities with a high attention to detail
• Team player with the ability to conduct work with professionalism
• Demonstrated high quality work as a parts technician
• Thorough knowledge of parts room related processes
• Ability to generate reports with a high attention to detail
• Role requires lifting (up to 50 lbs) as well as frequent bending, twisting, and standing
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and is essential
• 1+ years of related experience in a warehouse/parts room environment

Nice To Haves

• International shipping/receiving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional counter service to all internal and external customers
• Effectively communicate with Maintenance management regarding a continuous supply and maintenance of required parts
• Ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures to achieve safety objectives
• Organize and maintain the inventory areas
• Shipping and receiving
• Maintain vendor catalogue and pricing library
• Maintain purchase and issuing records
