The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service and support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. This position involves following and promoting company customer service programs, greeting and assisting retail customers with merchandise selection, and supporting professional customers. The specialist will complete assigned company training, provide excellent phone service by accurately looking up parts, quoting prices, and recommending items, and offer the Low-Price Guarantee. Key responsibilities include accurately maintaining and securing the cash drawer, processing cash, check, and credit card transactions, and handling exchanges and returns. The role also requires addressing and resolving customer complaints, assisting with daily store operations such as freight receival, stocking shelves, and cleaning, and performing various operational tasks like preparing merchandise returns and assisting with inventory counts. After training, the specialist will operate a brake lathe and other store test equipment, perform in-store services like installing wipers and testing batteries, and occasionally drive a delivery vehicle for deliveries when business needs dictate.
