The Parts Specialist will provide a high level of service to all retail and installer customers. This position also supports store management in assigned tasks. Key responsibilities include promoting company customer service programs, greeting and assisting retail customers with merchandise selection, and supporting professional customers as directed. The specialist will complete company training, provide excellent phone service by accurately looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending items, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee. They are responsible for maintaining and securing the cash drawer, processing transactions, handling exchanges and returns, and resolving customer complaints. Daily operational tasks involve assisting with image maker and planogram updates, freight receival, stocking, fronting, facing, and cleaning. Other duties include preparing merchandise returns, assisting with stock adjustments and inventory counts, operating a brake lathe and other store test equipment after training, and performing various in-store services like installing wipers, testing batteries, and scanning vehicle trouble codes. Occasionally, the role requires driving a delivery vehicle.
