We offer paid, on-the-job training to prepare you for success. In this role, you will perform a variety of in-store customer service, promoting, and stocking duties related to receiving, sale, and delivery of parts and accessories. There is extensive contact with external customers, both in-person and over the phone. Additionally, you will be working with a number of mechanics and shop foreman from our service department under general supervision.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
At least two (2) years of experience in a customer service position is preferred.
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Intermediate computer skills, including (but not limited to); PFW, Microsoft Office and internet functions.
Effectively handle lifting various objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working a parts counter is a plus.
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

Reading catalogs, schematics and computer displays in order to determine replacement part/s and pricing.
Determining replacements part(s) required according to inspection of old parts, customers’ request or customers’ description of malfunction.
Receiving shipments of order, placing machine down and stock orders.
Taking a complete inventory, marking and storing parts according to prearranged systems.
Examining parts for defects, and exchange of defective parts.
Advising customers on substitution or modification of parts.
Receiving and filling telephone orders.
Filling customer orders from stock.
Preparing invoices, pic-packs and sales receipts
Placing new merchandise on display.
Receiving payment and handle petty cash.
Preparing and maintaining records and reports.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public.
Operating a fork-lift in a safe, effective manner and in accordance with the safety policy.
