The Parts Specialist will provide a high level of service to all retail and installer customers, while also supporting store management in assigned tasks. Key responsibilities include promoting company customer service programs, assisting customers with merchandise selection, and serving professional customers as directed. The role requires completing assigned company training and providing excellent phone service by accurately looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending premium and related items, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee. The specialist is responsible for accurately maintaining and securing the cash drawer, processing various transactions, and handling exchanges and returns in accordance with company policies. They will address and resolve customer complaints, assist with daily store operations such as freight receival, stocking shelves, and cleaning, and perform various operational tasks like preparing merchandise returns and assisting with inventory counts. After training, the specialist will operate brake lathes and other store test equipment, perform in-store services like installing wipers and testing batteries, and occasionally drive a delivery vehicle for deliveries when business needs dictate.
