About The Position
Cornhusker International Trucks, Inc. is seeking a Full time Parts Specialist to join their Lincoln, NE team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for mechanical systems, including current or former automotive or diesel mechanics, or anyone interested in the diesel truck industry who prefers not to work directly on vehicles. The company offers training for candidates with or without prior automotive or heavy-duty truck parts experience.
Requirements
- Demonstrates good communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrates professionalism in the workplace
- Quickly and proficiently learns industry-specific software systems
- Ability to be self-motivated and can work independently in a team environment
- Must pass a drug test, physical & background check
Nice To Haves
- Automotive or heavy duty truck parts experience
- Currently is or was an automotive or diesel mechanic
Responsibilities
- Assists both service staff and customers with their parts needs
- Answers customer questions and handles any issues that arise
- Look up Parts using our parts catalog system
- Pull and invoice parts orders for both service department and customers using the POS system
