About The Position

The Parts Specialist at O'Reilly Auto Parts is responsible for providing exceptional service to retail and installer customers. This role supports store management in various tasks and ensures customer satisfaction through effective communication and assistance with merchandise selection. Requirements

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with automotive parts and cataloging systems.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs, such as Hi-5 and Low Price Guarantee.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store, accurately looking up parts and quoting prices.
• Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process transactions, and make change accurately.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit according to company policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily operational tasks, including freight receival and stocking shelves.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
• Perform in-store services for customers where allowed by law.
• Drive a delivery vehicle for customer deliveries when needed.
