About The Position

The Parts Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional service to retail and installer customers, supporting store management in various tasks, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role involves assisting customers with their merchandise selections, handling transactions, and addressing customer inquiries and complaints. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, highlighting the importance of communication in this position.

Requirements

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with automotive parts and cataloging systems.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs.
• Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly manner and assist them in their selection of merchandise.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store by answering calls according to company policy and accurately quoting prices.
• Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process transactions, and handle exchanges and returns.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily operational tasks including freight receival, stocking shelves, and cleaning.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
• Perform various in-store services for customers as permitted by law.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate.
