Position Summary As a Parts Salesperson, you will work directly with customers to identify, locate, and supply the parts they need. This role is ideal for someone who has some mechanical or parts knowledge and enjoys helping customers solve problems. Whether assisting at the counter, answering questions, or helping maintain an organized parts department, you will play a key role in supporting both our customers and our service team.

Requirements

Two-year degree or equivalent work experience
Basic mechanical aptitude or familiarity with equipment or automotive parts preferred
Ability to learn a wide range of parts, systems, and equipment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Friendly, personable, and attentive to customer needs
Three to five years of customer service experience preferred
Experience stocking, organizing, or managing inventory preferred

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist them in identifying and locating parts
Answer questions, explain product usage, and provide guidance on maintenance or installation
Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory to ensure accuracy and accessibility
Help maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled parts displays
Calculate sales totals, including discounts, credits, and promotions
Assist in resolving customer concerns, including backorders, damaged parts, or stock shortages
Work closely with the service and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate parts support
