As a Parts Sales Specialist, your typical responsibilities include greeting walk-in customers, responding to customer telephone calls and inquiries, selling products and/or services to meet customer needs, processing internal parts transfer requests, supplying Service Technicians with parts, assisting with merchandise displays, verifying receipting-in of shipments, assisting with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders, keeping the work area neat, maintaining department vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment, and participating in annual physical inventory. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
John Deere Parts experience or 3+ years other parts experience, preferably automotive or other comparable equipment
Recent experience in a customer facing position with comparable volume
Must be able to obtain forklift certification and safely operate forklift if/when required
Strong verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to utilize computer systems for parts look up, communication with customers and vendors- prior computer experience with CDK, online parts look up in automotive/equipment industry or comparable systems required
Basic math skills

Responsibilities

Greet walk-in customers, respond to customer telephone calls and inquiries, sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
Process internal (inter-company) parts transfer requests.
Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assist with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.
Keep work area and assigned warehouse areas neat, clean, and organized.
Maintains condition of department vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
Participate in (annual) physical inventory
