Parts Runner
About The Position
Assists the parts department by providing fast and efficient service in picking up, delivering, filling and pulling parts orders. Essential Functions: 1. Picks up, delivers, or ships parts damage free to customers or designed account as instructed. 2. Inspects shipment at loading and unloading for damage and quality; make appropriate notations on delivery receipt. 3. Pulls or fills parts orders 4. Calls supervisor to check for additional deliveries and pick-up within area that may include deliveries of sensitive and/or confidential documents on behalf of other departments. 5. Ensures parts vehicle is clean, safe and maintained in an operable condition. 6. Performs other duties as assigned Duties & Responsibilities 1. Projects a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers and management in a cooperative, supportive and courteous manner; displays a professional attitude while complying with company policies and procedures. 2. Maintain a clean, orderly and professional work area. 3. Perform other duties as directed.
Requirements
- Clean MVR
- Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- A minimum of two (2) years experience with word processor, personal computer and/or terminal hardware/software. (Excel and Word proficiency is required)
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to professionally interact with fellow employees, sales representatives, management and customers.
