About The Position

A Part Runner is responsible for transporting equipment, parts, materials, and supplies between departments to support efficient operations. This role ensures that crews and job sites have the correct parts at the right time, helping maintain workflow and minimize downtime. Must possess organizational skills and work effectively in a team setting. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. This role is essential in keeping projects moving by minimizing downtime and ensuring tradespeople have the materials they need to work safely and productively. This role will be first shift, 6am – 2:30pm with overtime as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess minimum of a CDL Class B.
  • Must be able to operate construction equipment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Transport parts, tools, and materials between yards, shops, job sites, and equipment operators.
  • Deliver supplies to construction crews, maintenance teams, and plant operations as needed.
  • Pick up replacement parts, aggregates, and consumables from vendors or storage locations.
  • Verify material quantities, part numbers, and delivery locations.
  • Assist with staging materials for upcoming jobs and coordinating deliveries.
  • Return unused materials and ensure proper storage and organization.
  • Communicate shortages, delays, damaged materials, or equipment needs to supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts areas, vehicles, and storage yards.
  • Follow all safety procedures, traffic regulations, and site-specific requirements.
  • Must possess a minimum of CDL Class B.
  • Must be able to operate construction equipment such as manlift, forklift, skid steer, etc....
  • Assist with other duties as needed.
