About The Position

Freightliner Northwest's Route Sales Driver is responsible for providing excellent service to our customers by building strong customer relationships and efficient parts delivery fulfilment on a designated delivery route. Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Other: Must have valid driver's license, be insurable and have a clean driving record.
• Skills that are representative of the job: Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pick-ups. Ability to type and use computer tablet and/or keyboard, send and receive calls and data via a smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Efficient parts delivery to customers on a designated route utilizing a delivery vehicle.
• Responsible for sales activities that build strong customer relationships on a designated route: Field order processing
• Issue resolution
• Customer training
• Transitioning customer to Excelerator ordering
• Management of vendor inventory programs
• Growth
• Proficient use of tools and technology including dispatch systems, tablets, phones and our customer relationship management tool.
• Other duties as assigned such as shipping, receiving, general warehouse work
