About The Position

The Parts Room Coordinator will work under the direction of the Stockroom Clerk to assist with verifying, labeling, and organizing parts located in the stock room. This role involves entering information into the inventory database, SAP, including part numbers and item locations. Responsibilities also include receiving materials into the stockroom, issuing materials to production, and filling customer orders from stockroom shelves, including packing and preparing materials for shipment.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of inventory/stockroom experience.
  • High aptitude with math and intermediate computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated team player.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.

  • SAP experience.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, label, and count stock items, and record data manually or using a computer.
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the stockroom.
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
  • Mark stock items using identification tags, including part numbers and location.
  • Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
