About The Position

The parts room clerk is responsible for managing inventory, stocking, and issuing parts and materials to maintenance and plant personnel. This position ensures accurate record-keeping and organization of the parts room to support efficient plant operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and track parts usage.
• Stock and issue parts and materials to plant and maintenance personnel.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack (certification required or willingness to obtain).
• Ensure proper storage and organization of parts in the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and orderly parts room.
• Adapt to varying work conditions, including temperature fluctuations.
• Lift up to 70 lbs. and perform tasks requiring use of both hands and arms.
• Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
