About The Position

This position is responsible for the following: maintaining parts in inventory tracking system; performing usage analysis; keeping parts room clean and orderly; dispensing parts and tools to maintenance personnel as needed; identifying and monitoring parts flow by parts numbers; releasing purchase requisitions for approval; receiving all maintenance parts; signing vendor tickets; filling out receiving reports for accounts payable; delivering parts to maintenance personnel for particular job; stocking inventory in parts room and printing documentation on inventory replenishment; unload supply trucks; prioritizing daily work with minimum supervision; other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Extra consideration given to applicants with maintenance, technical, computer and customer service experience
  • Experience working with parts and tools a plus.
  • Knowledge of a computerized maintenance management system that includes receiving and accounts payable
  • Competent in Windows-based software, such as Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to learn Tyson Maintenance system in 90 days.
  • Must possess a high level of verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to unload supplies lifting 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities to do intermediate math and accounting
  • Perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Work without supervision
  • Be detail oriented and have good attendance
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations/maintenance
  • Internal disqualifiers are the following: 6 attendance points Any suspension on record for the last 12 months
