About The Position

This position is responsible for inventory control in the maintenance shop, as well as receiving and storing parts, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

• General knowledge and experience with parts and tools preferred.
• Inventory experience is also preferred.
• General knowledge computer skills are required.
• Experience with Excel & SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distribute tools, parts, and equipment to workers and maintain accurate records of items issued and returned.
• Control parts room inventory, ensuring that all items are properly stocked, identified, and organized.
• Identify and order necessary parts and equipment to maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Initiate and maintain all required records pertaining to maintenance parts, including tracking usage and managing documentation.
• Assist in locating lost or misplaced tools and parts.
• Provide support to maintenance personnel by ensuring they have the necessary tools and parts to perform their tasks efficiently.
