About The Position

The Parts Quotation and Supply Chain Specialist at NorthAmCon, LLC is responsible for managing customer service, procurement tasks, and MRO jobs. This role involves direct communication with customers to ensure accurate quoting, processing orders, and maintaining detailed records. Responsibilities

  • Receive parts quote requests from the sales team and work with customers to ensure all necessary details are provided for accurate quoting.
  • Look up part pricing and availability from suppliers and gather detailed information about the parts, including specifications and lead times.
  • Compile gathered information into a formal quote and send it to the customer in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with customers to address any questions or concerns regarding the quote and update the sales team on the status of quotes as needed.
  • Process and confirm orders promptly if a quote is accepted and a purchase order is received.
  • Place orders for quoted parts with internal and external suppliers and ensure all order details are accurately recorded in Emerald & Job folders.
  • Review bill of materials and generate a spare parts list to be stored within job folder structure, distributing it to sales and project management teams as needed.
  • Maintain a vendor parts manuals library and distribute to sales and project management teams as needed.
  • Assemble a 'Job Packet' consisting of all relevant documents pertaining to a completed job and distribute files in an organized manner to the sales and project management team for each job.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and suppliers, coordinating with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction as needed.
  • Keep detailed records of all quotes and orders, storing this information within the quote and/or job folder structure and updating the internal database with relevant information.
  • Suggest improvements to the quoting and ordering process and stay updated with industry trends and supplier changes.
