The team is expanding due to growth and demand for price-friendly automotive solutions. The Automotive Parts Puller role involves the safe and efficient removal of valuable automotive parts like doors, seats, mirrors, body panels, pumps, hoods, trunks, and alternators from vehicles. This position is crucial for ensuring the quality and functionality of parts supplied to customers and partners.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on automotive mechanic focused experience which includes the repair and/or removal of automotive parts.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of automotive parts and their functions.
• Must own and maintain essential mechanical tools.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Locate, identify, and skillfully remove auto parts from vehicles in our salvage yards.
• Use forklifts and other lift equipment to move parts safely between storage areas.
• Examine parts for defects, label, and tag items meticulously, and input data into our computer systems.
• Manage the organization and disposal of scrap and core materials to designated areas.
• Keep your work area orderly and complete necessary paperwork diligently.
