The Parts Production Supervisor is responsible for leading the greening, engine prep and engine drop process, as well as providing directional support to personnel. Duties include managing the production line, conducting quality control, monitoring attendance, reporting team, and production performance to management and maintaining production equipment. This career requires experience in the automotive industry, supervising a team, and the ability to perform successfully in a production environment. Supervise the engine drop and greening procedures, including the extraction of fluids and preparation of vehicles for engine removal. Direct the process of removing batteries, cutting Freon lines, and detaching catalytic converters from vehicles Manage the removal of various small parts from the vehicle, such as headlights, taillights, doors, fenders, and hoods Verify that no hazardous materials remain in vehicles through quality control checks. Perform pre-checks of the production line at the start of the day using a maintenance report to ensure everything is in proper working order. Assign personnel to stations and oversee their tasks to ensure they stay within their designated areas. Monitor personnel attendance and adjust manpower needs for each station on the line accordingly. Work is generally performed indoors and outdoors in all-weather elements such as hot, cold, rain, or snow, and personal protective equipment is required. Working hours may vary, and evening or weekend work may be required. You may be required to lift and carry light weights. Regular attendance is essential to perform the duties of this position.
