YOUR OPPORTUNITY As a Parts Product Specialist or a Parts Product Specialist Senior, you will support and handle many calls from both reps and end customers with inquiries that relate to parts product through phone calls, website chats and emails. In addition, perform and/or support order processing functions for the parts orders.

Requirements

  • Parts Product Specialist Sr. 6-8 years of relevant work experience required.
  • 2 Year / Associate’s Degree or equivalent years of job experience required.
  • Prior leadership experience required.
  • Parts Product Specialist 4-6 years of relevant work experience required.
  • 2 Year / Associate’s Degree or equivalent years of job experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to product support team on basic technical support via phone and e-mail for both internal and external salespeople in the areas of product selection and application.
  • Gather information and provide resolution to field problems.
  • Negotiate parts and back-charges.
  • Basic knowledge of codes and standards for applicable products.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provide input on product roadmap, including new products and product enhancements.
  • Develop understanding of other equipment in our industry.
  • Review and provide input for improvement on technical product documentation.
  • Document service calls to record data on product questions and field issues.
  • Supports all coordinator duties.
  • Front-end support for all inquiries related to equipment in the field that may require quote generation.
  • Log information into CRM as required.
  • Coordinates with Purchasing on long lead-time parts to provide improvements and parts that may be obsoleted.
  • Coordinates with business units on substitute parts due to lead times or obsolescence.
  • Support daily reports from various systems.
  • Provide training and process updates to team members.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members when supervisor is out of office or working on other project items.
