Parts Person

About the position

Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking a 1st Shift Parts Person at our Parts Distribution Center in Enterprise, KS to provide support to the parts department as well as to receive, store, assemble, distribute, and route parts and products. This position works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Compare identifying information and counts.
• Weigh and measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for parts and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets and shelves.
• Convey orders to packing station or shipping station.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• Transfer materials and items from receiving and parts department to storage and other designated areas.
