About The Position
The Parts Mover position at PCT - Pacific Cast Technologies is a full-time role based in Albany, Oregon, specifically focused on the movement of titanium aerospace parts within the manufacturing facility. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of backend processes, which are essential for the production of high-quality titanium castings for the aerospace industry. The Parts Mover will work under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor and will be responsible for coordinating the movement of parts between various backend processes, both on-site and off-site. This role is integral to maintaining the flow of production and ensuring that all parts are accurately documented and transferred to the next location in the manufacturing process. In this role, the Parts Mover will also be tasked with alkaline washing and/or masking castings as needed, facilitating any expediting needs as outlined by the Manufacturing Supervisor or Area Leads, and reporting any interruptions in the schedule or product flow. Additionally, the Parts Mover will coordinate all backend tool movement requirements and perform other duties and projects as assigned. The working conditions for this position include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations, and the use of tool movement devices such as carts, cranes, and forklifts. The job is performed under reasonably good working conditions, although there may be some exposure to noise, temperature variations, and machinery. The schedule for this position is a swing shift from Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, with a $1.00 per hour shift differential.
