Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• Knowledge of department of transportation (DOT) compliance
• Knowledge of various plants, vehicles, and equipment
• Relationship-building and strategic thinking skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

• Manage all division locations, personnel, recruiting, hiring, promotions, and corrective actions.
• Train employees on safety-sensitive functions, monitor certifications, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and union requirements.
• Review equipment inventory, coordinate repairs and maintenance, assess condition, and recommend retirements or replacements.
• Approve purchase orders, invoices, capital expenditures, and strategic plans. Assist with setting equipment rates and maintenance policies.
• Maintain regular communication with managers, caretakers, and staff to align goals and schedules.
