About The Position

South Houston Nissan is looking to hire a Parts Manager! Job Summary: The Automotive Parts Manager primary duty is to order and sell a variety of vehicle parts and accessories.

Requirements

  • Possess mechanical and auto parts knowledge.
  • Ability to understand sales training and new product information.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Punctual, reliable and must have good communication skills.
  • At least 3 years of Managerial experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in working with operations and inventory.
  • May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, squatting, pulling and lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and respond to questions and requests about parts.
  • Coordinate with the service team to ensure parts are available or ordered promptly when needed.
  • Receive, unpack, log and store parts.
  • Track inventory and input items into the company log to ensure accurate inventory counts.
  • Assist customers in determining what parts they need.
  • Process payments and returns when necessary.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
