Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred
  • 3 years of experience in parts management or a related field
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Manage the parts department, including inventory, ordering, and distribution of parts
  • Ensure that the department runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that parts are available when needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure that the department is well-stocked
  • Train and supervise parts department staff
  • Ensure that all parts are properly labeled and stored
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the parts department
  • Ensure that all parts are properly accounted for and that the department operates within budget
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to interview, screen, and hire employees
